My first doubts came early in life. I can remember being 8 or 9 and asking myself, how can I as a JW have the only "true" religion when by best friends Mike and Matt across the street make the same claim? Critical thinking in elementary school. How do you like that?

by tall penguin inthis may not seem like your typical doubt but it was the first time i allowed myself to question the bible and the wt's explanation of things.
about 6 years ago, i was assigned a talk on the man judah.
this was when we were doing talks on specific bible characters.

Were the people I studied with just crack pots?
by caz ini have been thinking about my late mother today, ( it would have been her b'day) and i am feeling a bit upset over the fact that i no longer have a beautiful old wooden table that she gave me before she passed away.
this piece of furniture was one of the first items that she bought when we emmigrated from the uk to aus' and she had bought it 2nd hand.
i loved that table but i got rid of it on the insistance of the 2 women i was studying with as they told me it had demons in it!

The Beatles

what i found interesting was a comment made by paul mccartney.
he cooperated in the project, but he commented that it really should be called mythology, because 50% of it is probably not true.
